Agnes Monica (born Agnes Monica Muljoto on July 1, 1986) is an Indonesian pop singer, dancer and actress. Her albums ..And The Story Goes (2003) and Whaddup A.. '?! (2005) made her popular as a singer[1]. Her success has brought her fame not only in her homeland, Indonesia, but also in neighboring Asian countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Philippines. Her performance in 2008 Asia Song Festival in Seoul, Korea, have opened up doors for her fame in Taiwan, Korea, China and the rest of the Asia-Pacific region. She is the only singer in Indonesia who has own dance group called Nezindahood, that always come along whenever Agnes perform.
In 2006, Agnes was involved in shooting the drama The Hospital in Taiwan, where she acted alongside Jerry Yan, a member of F4 (band). She also acted in the drama Romance in the White House alongside Peter Ho, though she only appeared for a few episodes. In early 2006, Agnes decided to stop her college activities in University Pelita Harapan, Law Department, because of her ambitions to go international. She plans to start her music career in USA. Agnes still has not started her "international debut". She managed to win an award at the Asia Song Festival 2008 held in Seoul, Korea.
